New Year

  • Resting - still recovering from an antibiotic resistant bacteria (pneumonia) in my lungs.
  • Reading - read three books in the last couple of weeks and have a bunch more to read, thanks Ang.
  • Pounding - as the Hubs is working to finish off part of the basement.
  • Exciting - daughter number two has graduated from college and is moving home for a short time.
  • Growing - in the Lord as I challenge myself spiritually.
  • Shrinking - as I start the Biggest Loser program this week.
  • Organizing - because it always makes me feel neater and cleaner.
  • Loving - the time spent with my children, siblings and their families over the Christmas holidays.
  • Trying - to blog and read blogs again. It has been a very long time...

Gosh Gina I'm sorry you're still not feeling well...this has really hung on a long time. Praying you are 100% very soon...take it easy. Are you doing the Biggest Loser with your church? I kind of remember you posting about an opportunity there a while back.

Congrats on your daughter's graduation! That's great and I know you'll be glad to have her home for a while.

Happy New Year!

I trust you will soon be feeling good as new. It's been a long siege for you.

Will be glad to have you back in blogland more regularly. I miss you and your positive spirit.

I'm also curious about the Biggest Loser thing--where are you doing it? Maybe I'll get motivated to continue my weight loss by tracking your progress.

It's sooooooo good to have you back! (I've missed seeing Lance, too!) I REALLY like your new background.

I'm getting excited about your B.L. experience. I'm going to hurry over to your health blog to see what's up.

Take good care of your health. Enjoy having your daughter home.

Glad your beginning to feel better.Any idea of what caused or where you may have gotten your pneumonia? I wish you much success with your B.L. program. I also will follow. It is nice you will be able to have some mom and daughter time.

I'm continuing to pray that you will be well soon. Congrats on being chosen for the biggest loser challenge. I'm totally discouraged with my own efforts.

Hi Gina,
It has been too long since I have caught up on blog reading. I took a sick day today and stayed home from my volunteer tutoring work. I, too, am a bit under the weather with a cold and cough but nothing like your illness. No fun. I prayed for you as I read your post. Even so, you sound upbeat and ready for your new adventure.
