The Choice

Today, I have made the decision to walk in joy. Yes, for me it is a decision. I used to always see life as a cup half full, but over the last few years, I have come to see it as half empty. I need to fill my home with praise. Music, thoughts and words. It is my choice to live a life of worship to God. My choice to live a life of joy. I will take one day at a time, maybe even one moment at a time, but I WILL!

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

It looks like we were thinking along the same lines. I,too, am making the choice to praise Him through each day's challenges.

Blessings on you! You always seem so positive. I didn't know, until your last several posts, the challenges you live with daily. Donna

I'm praying for joy to be overflowing as the Lord rewards your choice.

As for the half cup thing, my husband always says it isn't half full or half empty...it's just half a cup! lol! He says he's just being a realist instead of a pessimist or an optimist.
