Since my father recently remarried and I didn't know what to get him (them) for Christmas, I decided to make a family collage calendar. I have asked my siblings to send pictures of themselves and their children and grandchildren. I am excited about this venture but not quite sure how to go about it.
I checked out many photo web sites, but found their templates were too limiting, they only allow one, two or four pics per page. So, I thought I would do my own...and there's the rub.
I am basically a technophobe!
Yes, I blog, with many tries and restarts, but actually putting together something like a scrapbook calendar, well let's just say, I NEED HELP!!
I would love if any of you wise crafters and scrapbookers and well, anyone who is just plain computer literate, would offer some suggestions.
Thanks!!!

This is an area I don't know a lot about. I'm checking with my eldest daughter because she's pretty savvy with doing Photo Shop, etc. (Yes, she's a photographer too! lol!).
But I wonder if you could do the collage pages then take them to someplace like Office Max and have them scan them and print them off for the calendar.
That's what I was thinking. It might be the easiest way to go.
Buy a mac.... Or send the photos to your brother or daughter :)
Seriously, for $20, iPhoto will let you do it with up to 7 photos on a page.
I did this for my mom years ago. I went to Kinkos. The staff there showed me what to do and I basically did my way. I know there are other high tech ways to do this now days but I haven't figured that out yet. I will eventually. I love to play on the computer espicially with pictures. But for now Kinkos is good.
Thanks you all for the suggestions. I think I will do the Kinko thing and hope for the best.
