Here are some things that I enjoy.
- Wood burning in a fireplace
- A children's choir singing
- Books, books and more books
- Josh Groban CDs
- A snowy night when all the sound is muffled and the air is crisp
- Pictures from the family
- Lance laughing at Zack and Cody
- Shrimp Cocktail
- My fluffy warm bathrobe on a cold morning (thanks Brig)
- Kevin watching the Red Wings
- A country Christmas Store
- Reminiscing
- Oliver chasing his tail
- A mug of Mexican hot chocolate
I guess it's easy to make me smile. What are yours?

I like reading about what other people like...I'm with you on the fireplace, books, snowy nights,& reminiscing...how about an ASAPH renunion?
Let's see, I like real letters (both receiving and sending), a good book that makes me want to stay up into the wee hours to finish it, hearing anyone from my family laugh, babies, snowstorms (provided everyone is home safe and sound), a good movie that makes me cry because of a happy ending. I also like a fire in the fireplace, mocha latte, and tea. Pizza is my favorite food. I like cold weather (to a point) because I like snuggly clothes! lol
Love this list. I'm with you on the reading. My Aunt recently gave me a copy of "The Shack", so I'm enjoying that on these now chilly days and evenings.
Hope you enjoy the Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake. Be sure to serve with whipped cream! :)
Hi Gina~ Thanks for visiting Smelling Coffee, and for your encouraging comment. I enjoyed visiting Gina's World, and can tell that you, too, are making a difference in your world - by loving and living for Jesus (loved the post on loving Jesus like we love chocolate!).
If you would pray for us (because our "standing" is not over, but I can't say anything else about it for a while longer), I would be so grateful. Then you can make a difference in your world and in ours. :-) Thank you so much! God bless you, Gina...
Mexican Hot Chocolate? Is this in a tin or something you order?
You can make it yourself or get it at a Mexican resaurant. It is hot chocolate with cinnamon and chili pepper. Soooo yummy!
